Hasen Global LCC lost its protest of a $34 million US Army Corps of Engineers contract for construction at Fort Polk in Louisiana, the GAO said in a decision released Wednesday.
Cerris Builders Inc. can move forward with the contract to sustain, restore, and modernize a tactical maintenance facility at the fort, since Hasen—which made a $28 million offer—didn’t show in its protest that the agency improperly assigned its proposal weaknesses under the small business participation evaluation factor, the US Government Accountability Office said.
