Florida-based INQEM LLC lost its appeal challenging US Customs and Border Protection’s termination of a contract to deliver bottled water to various locations in Arizona, the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals said in a decision released Wednesday.
INQEM didn’t show that its failure to meet delivery deadlines was the result of supply chain issues caused by Hurricane Ian in September 2022, Board Judge Harold D. Lester Jr. said in a decision granting the government summary judgment.
