Loyal Source Government Services LLC lost its protest against the US Department of Homeland Security over a request for medical services bids at the border, the GAO said Thursday.
DHS requested quotations to procure medical screening services for people in Customs and Border Protection custody at more than 80 locations along the southwestern US border, according to the GAO.
Loyal Source protested after CBP moved to consolidate some of the factors it used to evaluate quotes.
According to the GAO’s decision, Loyal Source alleged the government “failed to provide any meaningful rationale for diminishing the relative importance of experience.”
