Booz Allen’s $86 Million Army Order Withstands Conflict Protest

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. can perform an $86 million US Army task order to provide research facilitation laboratory support services despite Peraton Inc.'s conflict of interest claim, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Friday.

Peraton didn’t show that Booz Allen Hamilton received an unfair competitive advantage from hiring a former official in the Army’s Enterprise Cloud Management Agency, the GAO said.

The Army’s contracting officer reasonably determined that no personal or organizational conflict of interest existed, because the employee had no involvement in developing the solicitation, and had no access to any non-public information about the procurement, ...
