Boeing Taps Anduril in Bid For Army’s Cruise Missile Interceptor

Boeing Co. selected Anduril Industries to provide rocket motors for an interceptor to counter cruise missiles and drones in its bid for a US Army contract, a move that comes as the Trump administration seeks to broaden the base of weapons suppliers and accelerate production.

“This partnership is a major step forward in strengthening the industrial base and ensuring our warfighters receive the reliable, modern capabilities they need,” Burhan Muzaffar, Anduril’s senior vice president, said in a statement Thursday.
