Boeing Restriction in Apache Helicopter Parts Procurement Upheld

CM Manufacturing Inc. failed to show that the Defense Logistics Agency unreasonably requires the supply of Boeing Co. parts in a procurement for hollow pins used on the AH-64 Apache helicopter, the GAO said in a decision released Thursday.

CM argued that the requirement unduly restricts competition, and that CM should be allowed to offer pins it manufactures in-house.

But the protester didn’t demonstrate that the restriction is improper or violates procurement law, the Government Accountability Office said.
