Boeing on Tap for Contract to Replace Iran Raid’s Bunker-Busters

Boeing Co. will receive a contract valued at as much as $123 million to replace the 14 massive bunker-busters dropped in June on Iran’s nuclear enrichment and processing facilities, according to a budget document and three people familiar with the transaction.

Weighing 30,000 pounds and measuring six meters (20 feet) long, the Massive Ordnance Penetrator is the world’s largest precision-guided weapon and only saw its combat debut in the June strikes, in which the US used 12 to hit the deeply buried Fordow enrichment facility.
