BLM Companies, Innotion Lose Protests of HUD Property Contracts

24 Asset Management Corp., Spectrum Solutions Acquisitions LLC, and JGM Property Management Group can proceed with US Department of Housing and Urban Development contracts for property management services worth hundreds of millions of dollars, the GAO said.

Protesters BLM Cos. LLC and Innotion Enterprises Inc. challenged several—but not all—of the 11 contracts awarded for field service contract managers covering various US regions, which require such tasks as property inspection, property security, and cosmetic enhancements of properties that HUD receives after foreclosures.

BLM, for example, argued that it should have received higher past performance evaluation ratings than marginal and satisfactory.
