Birdi Systems Keeps $31.9 Million FDA Hardware Support Contract

Birdi Systems Inc. can proceed with a $31.9 million contract awarded by the Food and Drug Administration to maintain existing hardware as well as install new security systems, the Government Accountability Office said.

Protester Trilogy Secured Services LLC failed to show the agency erred by not assigning multiple strengths to its bid in the technical evaluation, the GAO said in a decision released Monday.

Trilogy said the agency failed to recognize its plan to rely on highly experienced key personnel.
