The new agency tasked with health technology development will tackle osteoarthritis research first, according to a Thursday announcement by ARPA-H.
The Advanced Research Project Agency for Health has issued a call for proposals for development of therapeutic technologies to address the damage caused by osteoarthritis.
The agency has scheduled an industry session for interested proposers on June 15.
ARPA-H expects to launch several programs this year, starting with Novel Innovations for Tissue Regeneration in Osteoarthritis. Currently open opportunities for contractors include setting up a hub-and-spoke designed network of locations.
