BGOV Contracting Brief: 148 Vendors Secured $463 Billion in FY23

A record total of $774 billion in procurement spending in fiscal 2023 was spread across nearly 90,000 vendors, but 148 of the largest contractors secured 60% of the market.

With an annual prime contract revenue of $500 million or more each in fiscal 2023, these large vendors collectively accounted for $462.7 billion, according to Bloomberg Government data.

They boosted their share of the overall federal market by nearly a percentage point compared to fiscal 2022.
