BAE Seeks to Defend $300 Million Missile System Award From Suit

BAE Systems Land & Armaments LP seeks to intervene in a protest challenging its award of a US Navy contract for MK 41 Vertical Launching System canister production.

BAE should receive permission to intervene to protect the contract worth “more than $300 million” from Pacific Engineering Inc.'s protest, because losing the contract following a successful challenge would deprive it of a substantial source of revenue, BAE told the US Court of Federal Claims in a July 5 motion.
