BAE Keeps $158 Million FEMA Operations Support Contract

BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc. will perform a $158 million operations and management support contract for FEMA, the GAO said.

Protester NTT DATA Services Federal Government Inc., which submitted a $196 million bid, couldn’t show that the agency conducted an improper price realism analysis before choosing BAE, the Government Accountability Office said.

The agency’s methodology was reasonable because it relied on qualified price analysis techniques to determine whether proposed prices were comparable to market averages, the GAO said.

The contract will require BAE to provide program management, information technology, and telecommunications services, among other services, the GAO said. ...
