Aviation Training Keeps $159.4 Million Aircrew Instruction Order

Aviation Training Consulting LLC can move forward with a $159.4 million task order to provide the US Air Force with aircrew instruction and courseware development services, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Monday.

Protester Quadrant Training Solutions JV, which submitted a $280.3 million bid, argued that the Air Force failed to properly consider risks posed by Aviation Training’s low price, such as inadequate staffing.

But Quadrant didn’t identify any solicitation requirement for evaluating staffing or wage levels in a technical risk assessment, the GAO said.
