AT&T Keeps $2.5 Billion Contract for National Security Agency (1)

AT&T Corp. will perform a $2.5 billion enterprise information technology services contract for the National Security Agency despite a competitor’s protest, the Government Accountability Office ruled.

Protester Enterprise Services LLC, which submitted a $1.8 billion offer, couldn’t show that the agency improperly evaluated non-price factors, or failed to conduct a reasonable best-value tradeoff analysis, the GAO said.

The contract involves providing services under the agency’s GREENWAY program, which calls for a partnership between industry and government service providers to build and operate IT services, the GAO said.
