ARxIUM Inc. is entitled to about $20,443 in bid preparation and proposal costs for being “arbitrarily excluded” from a pharmacy automation equipment procurement conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency, the US Court of Federal Claims ruled.
The company sought a bigger recovery that included about $46,000 in opportunity costs. It said it should receive costs reflecting the revenues it allegedly would have generated had its employees utilized their time on consulting instead of working on the bid.
