Army Ordered to Halt Cancellation of $365 Million Procurement

Mayvin Inc. and other contractors convinced the US Court of Federal Claims to stop the US Army from canceling the systems engineering and technical assistance III procurement worth $365 million.

The Army is permanently restrained and enjoined from canceling the SETA III solicitation in a manner that is inconsistent with the court’s instruction or the limits on agency action after an agency’s initial grounds for taking action “have been found inadequate,” the court said last week. Judge Zachary N. Somers’ opinion granting the plaintiffs judgment on the administrative record is under seal.
