Anduril’s Border Surveillance Tower Leads R&D Program Contracts

Anduril rocketed past other tech companies in a federally funded small business innovation investment program when it secured a US Border Patrol delivery order worth at least $367 million in December.

The one order has led to a roughly 450% higher aggregate level of civilian agency obligations under the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer, or SBIR and STTR, programs compared to the same point in fiscal 2025.

The Department of Homeland Security agreed to buy surveillance towers from Anduril Industries Inc. on a SBIR Phase III order in the first quarter of fiscal 2026.
