Amethyst Research, US Settle Contract Consulting Fraud Claims

Oklahoma-based Amethyst Research Inc. and the US government have settled a False Claims Act suit alleging that the company defrauded the government by improperly billing for consulting fees under Department of Defense contracts.

The parties filed Thursday a stipulation of dismissal with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Terms of the settlement weren’t made available.
