Amentum’s $128 Million Kuwait Logistics Award Needs Another Look

Vectrus Systems Corp. won its protest of the the US Army’s award of a $128 million task order to Amentum Parsons Logistics Services LLC to provide support services in Kuwait, the GAO said in a decision released Thursday.

The Army should evaluate offerors’ proposals in a manner consistent with the solicitation to include reopening discussions and seeking revised proposals, and it should make a new award decision, the Government Accountability Office said. The Army should terminate Amentum Parsons’ task order for the convenience of the government if Amentum-Parsons isn’t selected again, it said.
