Amazon, Microsoft Cloud Services Orders Withstand G2’s Protests

Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Corp. can move forward with task orders to provide “lift and shift” cloud migrating services to the US Naval Sea Systems Command, the GAO said in separate decisions released Wednesday.

Protester G2 Ops Inc. failed to show that sole-source awards to the two companies violated Small Business Innovative Research program requirements, or that the awarding agency, the US Defense Information Systems Agency, relied on flawed market research, the US Government Accountability Office said in the decisions.
