Alaska-based catering company I.C.E. Services Inc. and its president and CEO secured dismissal of a whistleblower’s suit alleging fraud under the Paycheck Protection Program, which helped businesses survive the Covid-19 pandemic.
Whistleblower Christopher Feduccia merely raised conclusory statements that didn’t allege fraud with sufficient particularity, Judge Sharon L. Gleason of the US District Court for the District of Alaska said in a Nov. 21 order granting the company’s motion to dismiss. Feduccia has 30 days to amend his claims.
