Accenture’s $100.7 Million Cybersecurity Award Survives Protest

Consulting company Guidehouse Inc. lost its protest of a $100.7 million task order to Accenture Federal Services LLC to provide cybersecurity risk reduction services to the the US Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency.

Guidehouse failed to demonstrate that the agency improperly assessed “elements of decreased confidence” to its bid under a corporate experience evaluation factor, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Monday.

The protester, for example, argued that the agency should have given its bid more credit for work on a prior cybersecurity project for the Department of Justice.
