Abbott Defeats Whistleblower Suit Over Diabetic Supplies Bills

A whistleblower’s False Claims Act suit filed in 2021 alleging fraudulent diabetic supplies billing by Arriva Medical LLC, Alere Inc., and Abbott Laboratories Inc. is dismissed, a Florida federal district court said.

Following a May 6 order dismissing two of Troy Olhausen’s counts with prejudice, the court reserved judgment on whether a third count should be also dismissed with prejudice.
