Abacus Contract Extension Makes General Dynamics Challenge Moot

Abacus Technology Corp.'s challenge to the US government’s plan to move IT services work the company performs to General Dynamics Information Technology Inc. is dismissed because Abacus received a contract extension, the US Court of Federal Claims said.

The suit challenging US General Services Administration’s plan to move the services to General Dynamics’ $1.25 billion EMITS 2 task order is now moot, Judge Thompson M. Dietz said in a Tuesday opinion granting an unopposed motion to dismiss.
