Zuckerberg, Meta Leaders Seek to Dismiss Human Trafficking Suit

Mark Zuckerberg and other senior leaders of Meta Platforms Inc. asked the Delaware Chancery Court to dismiss a shareholder suit alleging they ignored sex trafficking and child exploitation on Facebook and Instagram.

The allegations that the board and management failed to engage in adequate oversight or ignored red flags over many years—commonly called Caremark claims—should be dismissed because the complaint doesn’t allege any corporate trauma, the defendants said in their opening brief unsealed Wednesday.
