The billionaire Winklevoss twins prevailed in court against a former business partner who allegedly looted a magazine venture and then tried to pressure them into a buyout by threatening to release “emails of the guys asking to get laid.”
A Delaware judge ruled for the brothers Wednesday, ordering Stephen Shaw to pay them more than $1.4 million in damages and legal fees for misappropriating funds from affiliates of Treats! LLC, which published an adult magazine. But the judge denied their bid for millions more, rebuking the Winklevosses for trying to unfairly exploit Shaw after he all but forfeited.
