Windhorst Tells Court It’s ‘Difficult’ to Say if He Is Solvent

German financier Lars Windhorst told a London court he wasn’t sure what his net worth was, as he faced questions by lawyers over money he owes to a cruise ship tycoon.

Windhorst is being examined by lawyers as part of an attempt by Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio’s Heritage Travel and Tourism Ltd. to recover a debt of more than 172 million euros ($191 million.)

The cross-examination on Wednesday saw Windhorst taken through a number of documents he was forced to disclose in the proceedings, including bank account statements, details of the scale of his borrowing from his own companies ...
