Wells Fargo Forms Energy Transition Team Within Investment Bank

Wells Fargo & Co.’s corporate and investment bank is forming a new group to focus on developing energy and power sectors including renewables, carbon capture and electric-vehicle charging infrastructure.

John Hackney and James Peery will lead the energy transition team, according to Scott Warrender, head of energy and power in Wells Fargo’s corporate and investment banking unit. Hackney will also continue in his role leading renewables investment banking, and Peery will be in charge of a new energy solutions and technology effort.
