Warner Bros. to Reveal Political Spending After NY Fund Proposal

Warner Bros. Discovery has agreed to publicly disclose its political spending following a shareholder proposal from New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli that was withdrawn ahead of the company’s annual meeting on Monday.

Warner Bros. has made commitments to publicly disclose its state and local political contributions, its contributions to certain political organizations, and its policy position related to corporate federal contributions and direct independent expenditures, the company said in a May 2 letter to the New York State Common Retirement Fund that was obtained by Bloomberg Law.
