Walmart, Inc. was sued for allegedly copying well-known shoe designs including UGG boots and Teva sandals made by Deckers Outdoor Corp.
Deckers sued Walmart on Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California, calling the company out for using allegedly “deceptive, unfair, and fraudulent business practices” by ripping off UGG, Hoka and Teva brand shoes.
The California-based shoe designer is seeking damages for trade dress infringement, patent infringement and unfair competition.
