Vivendi Is Said to Favor Ousting Telecom Italia Chairman Rossi

Telecom Italia SpA’s largest investor favors ousting the former phone monopoly’s chairman to improve corporate governance, according to people familiar with the matter.

The French media-conglomerate Vivendi SE is of the view that Telecom Italia Chairman Salvatore Rossi isn’t properly considering all investors’ interests, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the plan isn’t public.
