Vista Equity Partners Management LLC dodged $270 million in losses through strategically timed insider sales of Integral Ad Science Holding Corp. stock, according to an unsealed lawsuit.
An Integral investor is suing Vista, saying it sold shares worth $440 million based on nonpublic information about the ad tech company’s pricing woes that the private equity giant gleaned from its board majority. Vista sold 30% of its controlling stake between May 2023 and January 2024, before public revelations about the pricing pressure tanked Integral’s stock by 41% in a day, the suit says.
