Vista Equity Partners Sued Over $3.5 Billion Pluralsight Deal

A Pluralsight Inc. investor sued its board and Vista Equity Partners LLC in Delaware over their planned $3.5 billion deal to take the online learning platform private, portraying the transaction as “burdened by conflicts” and seeking to halt it.

“The buyout comes just as the company is poised for significant growth” based on “the shift to digital education” during the Covid-19 pandemic, “which will now only benefit Vista and management,” the lawsuit says.
