Eleven UK finance bodies, including leading accounting organizations, published an open letter Monday calling on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to do more to meet the United Nations’ development goals.
The letter cited UN figures showing that the world was on track to meet just 12% of Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, with the UK at 17%. The UN is holding a summit in New York this week to discuss progress on the goals.
