The US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright joined several members of Congress at the Ames National Laboratory, highlighting the importance of unleashing American energy, science, and innovation, the Department of Energy said Thursday.
Wright toured the Critical Materials Innovation Hub and discussed key areas such as rare earth minerals, critical materials, AI, and next-generation energy technologies. The Trump administration’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” includes investments in these areas meant to bolster US competitiveness, the department said in a news release.
