Twitter Ex-Holder Who Sued Elon Musk Seeks $3 Million Legal Fee

A former Twitter Inc. investor who sued Elon Musk after he tried to walk away from buying the company for $44 billion is taking partial credit for the deal’s closing and seeking $3 million in legal fees.

The ex-shareholder, Luigi Crispo—whose bid to compel the closing was rejected—filed court papers Wednesday seeking a reward for the role he claims his lawsuit played in forcing Musk to consummate the transaction. Musk announced he would close the deal in October, ahead of a planned trial in a separate case brought by Twitter itself.
