The parent company of Biosplice Therapeutics Inc., founded by the billionaire Osman Kibar, is facing litigation over claims it allowed a private equity executive to “con” a prominent Swiss-Tunisian banker into investing.
The banker, Kamel Lazaar, is seeking internal company files to investigate allegations that a principal at Singapore-based Vickers Venture Partners duped him by falsely touting support from former President Bill Clinton, Mexican business magnate Carlos Slim, and France’s Bernard Arnault, one of the world’s wealthiest people.
