TotalEnergies Faces Criminal Complaint Over Climate: Le Monde

Four climate organizations have filed a criminal complaint against TotalEnergies, accusing it of not acting to prevent climate change, French newspaper Le Monde reports, citing document and the organizations’ lawyer.

• Complaint accuses company of abstaining from preventing a disaster, manslaughter, unintentional injury and destruction or damage to property belonging to another person presenting a danger to people, according to Le Monde
