Companies should give their workers paid time off to vote in the US presidential election next month, investors that advocate on environmental, social, and governance issues told an influential business group.
“Collective action to ensure free and fair elections” on Nov. 5 should be a priority for business leaders, the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility said in a letter to the Business Roundtable released Wednesday.
