Texas became the third state to reprimand Airbnb Inc. for delisting Jewish-owned lodgings on the West Bank after concluding the home-sharing company ran afoul of state law prohibiting state contracts with companies that boycott Israel.
Airbnb is no longer eligible to receive state investments ahead of its upcoming initial public offering, according to a statement issued by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar. “My office added Airbnb to the Texas list of companies that boycott Israel,” according to the statement emailed by the office on March 6.
