Sweetgreen Chief Development Officer Tarrant to Leave Chain (2)

Sweetgreen Inc. Chief Development Officer Chris Tarrant is leaving the restaurant chain after a more than a year leading the company’s efforts to expand its footprint.

Tarrant will stay at Sweetgreen through the end of January to ensure a smooth transition, a company spokesperson said in a statement. The exit is due to personal reasons, the spokesperson said without elaborating.

The executive held development roles at Starbucks Corp. and, most recently, Nothing Bundt Cakes prior to joining Sweetgreen in 2024, according to his LinkedIn.
