Sub-Zero Repair Business Sues Rivals Over Fridge Parts Market

A Houston business specializing in out-of-warranty repairs for Sub-Zero refrigerators sued three rival companies, claiming they’re colluding with the manufacturer to divide up the aftermarket for parts.

The antitrust lawsuit, filed Monday, targets the brand’s sole authorized parts maker in Texas and the only two authorized repair companies in the state. The complaint also names Google parent Alphabet Inc. as a defendant, solely because it seeks an order compelling changes to certain Google Maps listings. The tech giant isn’t accused of wrongdoing.
