Steptoe Hires Litigator Laplante for Southern California Office

Corey Laplante joined Steptoe as a partner in its commercial trials & litigation group in Los Angeles, the firm announced Tuesday.

Laplante joins from Mixhalo Corp., a live event recording platform provider, where he held general counsel, president, and co-CEO roles over a more than six-year stretch. He previously worked as a litigator for Wilkinson Stekloff and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
