Steptoe Hires Former DOJ Compliance Lawyer Galvin in DC Office

Matt Galvin joined Steptoe LLP as a partner in its investigations, white-collar, and compliance practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced Wednesday.

Galvin was counsel for compliance and data analytics at the Justice Department, where he served for less than three years. He previously worked as chief ethics and compliance officer at AB InBev, leading the development of a global compliance analytics platform that leveraged AI and machine learning to detect risk patterns and drive proactive compliance, according to the firm.
