Stephen Miller’s Legal Group Targets Disney Board on Diversity

Conservative activist group America First Legal sent a letter to Walt Disney Co.‘s board taking issue with its oversight of the entertainment giant’s hiring policies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The group, led by former Trump adviser Stephen Miller, alleged Wednesday that the company’s DEI programs amount to “discriminatory quotas to ensure members of underrepresented groups fill a certain percentage of Disney jobs,” such as acting and directing roles. The letter accuses Disney’s board of breaching its fiduciary duty, wasting company assets, and violating civil rights laws.
