Starbucks Kicks Off Search for New Legal Chief Amid Shakeup

The search is on for a new top lawyer at Starbucks.

Bradley Lerman, Starbucks Corp.’s outgoing chief legal officer, is preparing to depart amid a leadership reshuffling and will help find his successor, remaining in his role until one has been chosen, CEO Brian Niccol said Wednesday in an open letter to employees.

Lerman’s impending departure meets the company’s “without cause” severance provisions, according to an 8-K filed on Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Lerman, who was hired in 2023, could not be reached for comment.
