Sprouts Cites Supplements Marketing Risks Under New FDA Regime

Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. said in its annual report that changes at the Food and Drug Administration could prompt the grocery store chain to rework how it markets nutritional supplements.

The grocery store chain told shareholders in its 10-K financial filing on Thursday that legal and regulatory changes “may impact how we may market and sell our products in the future, for example, by changing food and dietary supplement label requirements.”
