SolarWinds Corp.‘s senior leaders prevailed on appeal Wednesday against shareholder litigation over a 2020 cyberattack by Russian hackers that compromised the systems of Fortune 500 companies and US government agencies.
Delaware’s supreme court ruled for current and former members of the SolarWinds board, rejecting claims that they ignored red flags about lax internal protocols. The decision upheld a September ruling by a Delaware Chancery Court judge who found that the lawsuit showed at most “inattention,” not “intentional dereliction.”
