Smash My Trash LLC sued Dumpster Devil LLC and its co-founders in Delaware, claiming they feigned interest in setting up a franchise as part of a scheme to steal trade secrets and start a rival trash compacting business.
The Chancery Court suit, which includes Smash My Trash’s franchising arm as a co-plaintiff, also targets Dumpster Devil’s North Carolina-based parent company, Kanda Holding Inc.
